Login screen...
Al, I have my network configured, MA Manager on both computers and scanner working. I cannot figure out how to make only the login screen stay up all the time and access to other parts of the program and computer be inaccessible. Could you explain as I am trying to complete the install by 5/6. Great program. Thanks again. Mick

On the Options screen, which is accessible through the File Menu, you can select scanning screen options. On the Main Screen, click the Student Scanning button. On the Scan Type popup screen select the type of scanner. The "Do Not Dedicate Monitor" check box should only be checked of you intend to work other things on the PC. In your case, do not check this box. Click OK and the scanning screen should appear. To prevent access to other parts of the program/computer, click the Lock button and enter a password.

So each time I shut down the network I will have to go through the procedures each time?... or is there a way to make the scanning screen come up automatically on reboot once the initial options have been set. Thanks again

When you reboot you will need to re-open the SMAM program and do as I previuosly posted from the second sentence onward. I would recommend that you keep your network up 24/7.
