Exporting to Excel
Al, Is there any way to export a Student Listing Report to Excel? Thanks in advance for your help.

The print preview screens have an envelope icon at the top of the screen for exporting. Click on this icon and select the appropriate options.

Don't see the envelope? I am running version 2.7, going to the reports button on the main menu and clicking open, going to the bottom of the page by the printer icon and clicking the arrow which shows existing reports, selecting the report that I want, clicking the printer button which prints the report to the screen. I do not see the envelope that you are talking about. Is there another way to see this same report and in turn the icon that you are talking about?

When you mouse over the icon it will say "Export".

Al, Thought I was an idiot...may be! The Student Reports tab and the Query Tab do not show an envelope or export option. The other tabs on the Reports screen do. Again, I am running version 2.7. Thanks again.

The envelope is on the Print Preview screen at the top not on the Report Screen. If you do not see it email me and I'll email you back a pic showing what you should be seeing.

Exporting to Excel
Okay, I see the envelope on any report that is .rpt but do not see it on the previews of .txt type reports. Is there a way to convert a .txt to a .rpt so that the envelop is viewable? I created a report that I need to export to Excel so that I can send electronically in Excel format to our hombu on Okinawa. Thanks again for all your help.

You cannot convert from txt to rpt. You may want to consider using the grid view. Do a customize then export to excel.
