Error Message
Al, Using Studio MA Manager from a networked computer, the following error message appears on the bottom toolbar: "Routine Invoice updating FAILED. Close other screens and networked use." I haven't check on the main computer yet. What does it mean? Thanks, Tom Kelly

The Routine Invoicing function, when enacted, will update student accounts upon a new day according to their billing cycle. This function requires sole access to the program database to ensure all records are properly updated. So, all other screens need to be closed except for the main screen and the program needs the be closed on all networked PCs.

Hi Al, Ever since I upgraded to 2.6 I am having troubles sending emails from the reports page. I am trying to send a we miss you email from people who havnt trained in the last 7 days, and at the bottom it says 3 of 7 emails sent but it freezes there and no emails have been sent. Would there be a trouble with the outlook bypass update? JB

Some customers have problems if their MS Outlook is not open. Try opening MS Outlook and minimize it before sending emails from SMAM. The emails created by SMAM should go into your MS Outlook Drafts Folder then get sent when MS Outlook does its next Send/Receive. If it still gives you problems, please let me know.

John, Send me an email letting me know which particular screen you are using. I will then create a special upgrade for you to try to isolate where the problem is occurring. SMAM is now using a third party dll (Outlook Redemption v. 4.2) to interface with Outlook. Hopefully, I can fix the problem. If the problem is in the dll, I'll need to work with the vendor. My initial thought is that the problem is associated with a setting in your Outlook or maybe some antivirus software setting.
